Chennai has few top places for its Night life and drinking and some of them are:
10
Downing Street -
In case
you questioned what 10 Downing street referred to, it's the White house of the
United Kingdom.
A typical English themed Pub that serves delicious food with perfectly priced happy hour drinks.

The Vault- Bar Stock
Exchange:
Its an
amazing club! Ambiance is too good with a breath taking infrastructure.
From families to teens, everybody can booze and hang out there. They have tight
security here so safety is not an issue. You should be 21 for going here. They
ask for ID card. They have a dancing area. You can dance like crazy!
Though a bit expensive as it's a club. But worth the clubbing experience. Too
good!
Illusions- The Madras Pub-
This
place looks really amazing. The ambiance is too good. Pricing is a bit on
the higher side. Good music and friendly staff.
Sera- The Tapas Bar&
Restaurant:
Though
the place is a little on the expensive side compared to other places in
chennai, it had Good food, good drinks and good music. So overall a good
experience.
The Moon and Sixpence:
Ambience:
The ambience is a bit frail. Going by the designs of the place, it's old school
with high chairs and teak wooden tables. Large windows, small corridors and
dusty books. They play the 80s on repeat. So quite a nice place to sit and
unwind. It's in the Hablis hotel but since it's not a place rooftop bar it
misses the luxury of a good view. Service is slow.
Food: The food menu and the drinks menu are quite vast. But the variety is just on paper. When asked about their range of beers, they had only 1 beer against a displayed 16. That's brutally poor. 75 percent of the food menu was unserviceable. Yes, on a Friday night in an upscale hotel in Guindy. Horrorshow. At least the chicken paprika and onion rings were good.
Price: Quite expensive given that nobody visits this place other than for team get-togethers and folks residing at the Hablis itself. Beers cost about 400 bucks and food dishes close to 300.
