Everybody knows how much I love the beach. Really, if I start on it I cannot and will not shut up. I feel like I belong in the ocean. I should have been born a mermaid but by some cruel twist of fate, am a human. But that doesn't stop me from visiting the beach as often as I can. And what better way to enjoy the beach than from the light house from which we can see not one part but the entire stretch of it?
Visits to the light house was curbed and later prohibited by the Chennai government on account of the suicides that were high on rise but this prohibition has now been raised and people are now allowed to visit it again but within certain time limits.
The light house can be visited from 10 am-1 pm and 3 pm-6 pm on all days. It is an amazing experience and should not be missed out on.
