Restaurant Reviews- That Madras Place

It was a bit crowded when I visited.

The ambience was good, but very noisy. They took such a long time to bring the food that we had ordered. The staffs were very slow in service. It was the manager who took efforts to take the order as well as serve it too.

That madras place is a very small restaurant and getting a table will be really difficult. But the problem is they don’t attend your phone calls for reservations. I really like the concept of ordering food through mobile app in real time. As a techie I really appreciate the use of apps.

Coming to food,
I liked all the veg options than the non veg. Mushroom ravioli was the best. Desserts were the smooth touch. Be sure to try them. Service on the other side was slow because we were big crowd.

-Chicken finger in home spice mix
We loved this starters a lot. The chicken pieces were spicy and tasted good too.
-Chicken casserole
The dish consist of Chicken, broccoli and other veggies in a creamy cheese sauce. It was served along with herb rice. The dish was truly delicious that it will leave you wanting it more.
- jalapenos Mac and cheese
The dish was average and disappointing.
-Theobrama
This 6 layered cake has been the talk of the town for a long time now. Only the first 4 layers were flavourful. It had the perfect texture but everything else was average.

The princing is on the higher side. Only for the casserole, I felt it was worth every rupee.

Places To Visit In Chennai - Fort Museum

     Fort Museum

Chennai fort is the first British fort in india and it was the starting point around which the city of chennai grew, commencing the era of East india company.

The place has a fort museum which is mainly focused on the fort's history. There is a small art gallery on the second floor. The star exhibit is the Indian flag which was raised on the fort on 15th august,1947.

There's a church nearby, which is the oldest Angelical church in India.

The building which is now used as the Museum was the officer's Mess during british Era.

Overall the place is good for spending a couple of hours, Marina beach is close from here, so you can head out to the beach later.

Places to Visit In Chennai - Khader Nawaz Khan Road (KNK)

The posh ambience, the scrumptious dessert places and lastly, a street filled with restaurants and cafes.

I would suggest this place because it could be tagged as a hangout spot or a "date" spot.

Its really close to most of the colleges in Nungambakkam and one place where I would go everyday is "The Thickshake Factory."The Choco-chip Mint Thicksake is one drink I love and suggest to drink, I love the other flavors as well including Butterscotch.

Another such fancy place for desserts would be "Amadora." Ice-creams and cakes are what they are famous for. They are simply delicious and though pricey, they taste like heaven.

The teenage trends keep on changing, one such place which is overly hyped is "Keventeers." Overly priced milkshakes in all kinds of flavors lured in teenagers to spend 250 bucks for a well-presented glass bottle.

The area is pretty fancy and it has many resto-bars as well such as INK 303 and Slate (Not been there as I'm hardly legal.)  They are famous for their drinks and good food.

Another reasonable and a good friendly spot would be "SUBWAY" Don't we all love subs and the "sub of the day" ? It's pretty reasonable in a locality like this and it's delicious as well.

A fun spot in this locality is the "Trampoline Park." It's newly opened and it's always crowded on weekends. But it's one of the fun spots to visit in Chennai. It's really good for hopping and playing around with your friends. A good friendly spot.

Restaurant Reviews - Cleo's Grill & Cafe

The dark yet soothingly calm interiors and light music gives you a feeling of fine dining with proper light focusing on the food. The place feels homely and the service is good too. Having a European style dinner can never get more interesting when you have Mediterranean and Hawaiian salads to gorge on. Pasta is a must try along with the drinks on the menu. The menu should include more beverages (just a suggestion).

Aptly available for both vegetarian and non vegetarian tastes, the dishes do their trick on your taste buds and you'll love it. You can even customise the dishes as per your requirements. It takes them so much lead time to start their service and take orders which was not good.

Broccoli and cheese soup is a must try!The starters were cooked very nicely but we have very less options, the paneer tikka was not upto to the normal standards. The place had very less options.

Main course also had very less options on the menu. We customised the jeera rice and kaju pulaowhich is a must try. It's really awesome

Deserts had less options so we did not taste it.

Options and menu can be improved considering the crowd, Service can be better, Lead time can be reduced.

Food - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Ambience - 4/5 Overall experience - 4/5

Restaurant Reviews- Fusili Reasons

Tiny, laid-back eatery turning out an array of garlic breads & pastas, along with nachos.
Been a regular customer at fusili since it's inception.

It is one of the pocket friendly places when it was a small shop with great food. But they started losing their punch for a brief period of time but they came back with a bang.
The beetroot and Mayo Garlic bread , Masala Mac and the Iced Tea is the one I usually prefer. Each and every item is a must try and it still remains one of the few quality pocket friendly places I know of.

Fusilli Reasons is a great place to have Italian cuisine. The pastas here are very delicious and extremely good. Cheesy pasta is very good to taste here. Even though a small restaurant , it is designed to accommodate nearly 40 - 50 persons at a time. It is not advised to visit during peak hours because the restaurant is highly crowded. There is a very small parking lot to this place, steps should taken to expand it. Instead of giving Rasna the management can decide to come up with new drinks which will satisfy the appetite of the customers.

The pricing is fantastic and the service, very prompt. This is a really popular place, we could tell, because it started filling just as soon as the doors were opened for the customers.
The cheese garlic bread has too much cheese. Personally I’m not a fan of an over dose of cheese. The masala mac is superb. A must try. The nachos and the overflowing sauce was just perfect. It’s nice how this place uses reusable plates for their dishes.

Culture of Tamilnadu

Tamilnadu is well known for its ancient temples. The Tanjore periya kovil is noteworthy and Kanchipuram, Kumbakonam and Srirangam have the most attractive temples. Art lovers eagerly wait for the Margazhi season and the thyagaraja aradhana for the enticing music and dance feast. Tanjore painting is a very rich and unique art form.

Restaurant Reviews- Mass Bunk

Mass bunk Review - 6

Mass bunk is the best place to have some tasty food and starters. Mainly  the cake is amazing actually it's like a chocolava cake. The shop looks so different and colourful.
