Restaurant Reviews- Sandy's chocolate laboratory

What if you get your favorite food in a nice ambience, for a reasonable rate, well Sandy's Chocolate Laboratory is the wonderful place for that.Sandy's Chocolate Laboratory is located in Nungambakkam and it is an ideal destination for your chocolate based Once you are through with the meal, you can start all over again and drool over the desserts. It’s a bit like walking into a chocolate box.
The dessert section takes that immediate bias in the hearts of diners and delight them with its offerings. The casual dining restaurant also serves Italian, Continental, and European cuisines that make sure you get to taste varied flavors and the enigmatic aroma of the dishes. The casual ambiance makes you all the more comfortable. It is a must-visit place for people who want a delightful dining get away.

The desserts here are mind blowing, from cheesecakes, for black forest pastries. Sandys Chocolate Laboratory is heaven for chocolate lovers❤ The presentation is their highlight. Excellent location, excellent food and affordable pricing have turned this place into a very popular hangout for the young and trendy in the city.

Restaurant Reviews- Mathura Resturant

Mathura Restaurant.

My Rating: 4.

My childhood was revolved around this restaurant for any family get-together "Mathura Restaurant." The cuisine wasn't just limited to North Indian and South Indian but a lot more like Chinese and Continental. I would totally recommend the continental food.

It's my family-oriented place with a touch of a homely feeling. The food is really good and the price is pretty decent for our time. The soups are steaming hot and really tasty, I would recommend the Tomato soup. The starters have a huge variety and the North Indian starters are super worth it.

For the mains, South Indian meals during afternoon is a specialty, the North Indian Naan and Dal Makhani would be a beautiful meal choice. I would totally recommend the Lasagna for the continental main.  It is super cheesy and filled with vegetables and a specialty as well.

The dessert specialties would be Gulab Jamun and any scoop of Ice-cream. I haven't tried the sundae's in recent times but they are quite famous. The ambiance and service of the restaurant is one of the greatest in Chennai. It was crowded during weekends and the service is homely and the prices are pretty reasonable.

Restaurant Reviews- Dr's Bubble Tea

My Rating: 3.5

(Image taken from Zomato and all credits go to the owner)

In the 32nd Cross Street of Besant Nagar, lies a cozy little beverage stall called Dr's Bubble Tea. "So, what's so special about this place?", you may ask me. Well, for beginners, it is the friendly vibe the place oozes out. Of course, the reasonable prices are an added advantage.Though the beverages themselves are not something that would sweep you off your feet, they are definitely creative and are worth trying. They are a bit watery and sweet but are refreshing all the same. They come in two base choices: with milk and without milk. I would suggest the ones with milk because they are comparatively thicker but you can try the ones without milk if that's what you prefer. The lychee drink is a personal favorite of mine and the chewy toppings come in various flavors and add texture to the drink. The prices range from Rs.50-120 and an added Rs.30 for extra toppings.
To put this review in a nutshell, Doctor's Bubble Tea is a must try for the people who prefer welcoming places and reasonable prices. For the people who prefer traditional drinks? Not so much.

Places To Visit In Chennai - Marina Beach

Image result for marina beach

Marina Beach is one of the most popular visiting places in Chennai. This is the second longest shoreline. One can see a beautiful sunrise as well as the sunset. The best would be 5-6AM. You get to watch an amazing sunrise. Though you get to see the sunrise in most parts of India, this one is quite special. You get to see the huge big ball of fire coming up from the golden waters. Marina unlike other times of the day will be less crowded at dawn. There are people walking and jogging. Also you can go to the lighthouse top, and see a stunning view from there.

Restaurant Reviews- Asian Station

Asian Station.

My Rating: 4.

Asian Food is one of my favorite cuisines and one spot in Chennai I would recommend for Asian food is "Asian Station." They have a buffet as well for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The buffet includes a drink, variety of starters, the mains and the desserts. They're unlimited and it might be kind of expensive but the taste makes up for it.

The food is scrumptious and I would recommend the Sushi there, they have different varieties according to your preference. I would suggest the Dimsims, they were steaming hot and delicious. Crispy potato is my order in every restaurant I go as it is one of my favorites and it was good here. Dragon Chicken is one of my other favorites as well for the starters.

For the mains, I have tried the Burnt Garlic Rice and the Kung Pao Sauce and both of them are an amazing combination for a simple main. The Steamed slice fish is one of the recommendations of a closed one though I haven't really tried it. The taste of the mains was really good and might be on the expensive side but one to try.

For the dessert, Honey noodles with ice-cream is my hands down recommendation and it was one to swoon over. Then, the brownie is the next dessert what I would recommend.

The price of the food might be over the top but the ambiance and food makes up for it. I would suggest going with your family and friends would make this one good spot.

Restaurant Reviews- Burger King

As a college student who is constantly broke like me, this is one place to chill and eat reasonable food. It is in Express Avenue Mall and it's one of my daily hangout spots as it's reasonable and even, fun to hangout with your friends.

You can just laze around there and eat as much as you want or even, work. It's a pretty chill place and I would recommend the Chicken Whopper- It's kind of expensive for 150 bucks but it's so damn big and it's full meal.

The Cheesy fries are to die for (literally), there is so much of cheese and it tastes like heaven, I wouldn't recommend the Ice Bolt because it's only ice and the recipe to getting cold. The Pepsi float which is Pepsi and Vanilla ice-cream is reasonable and my favorite drink of all time.

The ambiance is good, it's always crowded as it's become one of the most famous hangout spots in Chennai. It's situated in a mall so after a long tour of the mall and shopping till our knees give up, you can just order coffee or fries and just sit down there and chill.

I like this place and it's more of a group hangout place so bring your friends and there you have it, your very own mini party.

Restaurant Reviews- Eden

Eden:

Chennai is famous for it's South Indian cuisine and for the scrumptious Idlis and Dosas. I love the cuisine available but one such place in Chennai which I love for South and North Indian and Italian cuisine under the same roof is "Eden" in Harrisons Hotel in College Road.

The food is simply delicious and the mixture of Western and Indian cuisine though it's only vegetarian shows how diverse Chennai has become over the years. It's a pretty old restaurant in Chennai and it's famous for its service which is on point.

My favorite dish would be the Lasagne and the Mushroom on Toast for the mains and Tiramisu for the Dessert. It's really good for the North Indians as they have a variety of Indian breads and gravy's which are utterly scrumptious.

The restaurant on the whole has a very homely feeling, a good place to eat with your family and chat around with them. The ceiling looks absolutely beautiful and it's a very lit place. The service is very good and they make sure to serve hot food on your table for your hungry tummy.

On the whole, I would recommend it and it's one of my favorite spots in Chennai for Italian and Indian cuisine and the desserts are the win-win after your meal.

Here is a tiny glimpse of the restaurant and my favorite dish- the Lasagne.
